Homework Policy

 

Classwork:  Classwork is typically due the day it is assigned.  If the work is not completed during the school day, students do have the opportunity to take the work home, complete it, and return it the following morning.

Homework: When homework is assigned, those assignments need to be written in the student's planner. Homework assignments are expected to be turned in the following morning at 8:30.

Late/missing work:  I understand that sometimes it's easy to forget to do homework or to accidentally leave it at home.  But if late or missing work becomes a problem, students will have to complete the missed assignments in the office during lunch.  Students may also be placed on an organizational plan that will include notes in their planner on a daily basis and will require parent signatures so that parents can help their child keep on top of his/her work.
